The aim of this CRE survey was to undertake a detailed study of young people in Lewisham. Specifically, to compare the main ethnic minority group in the borough - West Indians - with their white counterparts. The survey covered the young people's experience in looking for work, their educational achievement, their career aspirations as they left school, their job seeking experiences and finally their experience of employment / unemployment.
