Description:
Industrial Training Boards (ITBs) and Race Relations. Occasional paper No 5. Developments in race relations training and advisory work since the Discussion Paper May 1977. Report on the British Association for Commercial and Industrial Education (BACIE) / Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) Conference, November 1977. This CRE report had a dual purpose. Firstly, it provided a summary of the proceedings of the Conference on Industrial Training Boards and Race Relations which the CRE held in conjunction with the BACIE in November 1977. The second purpose of the report was to provide an up-to-date picture of the developments which were made in the field of race relations training by individual ITBs during the months between the preparation of the original Runnymede Trust / Community Relations Commission discussion paper on this issue in May 1977 and the present time.
