Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) Publication scheme: Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000.
The FOI Act came into effect in January 2005. Under section 19 of the Act public authorities such as the CRE were obliged to produce an inventory of the information they publish, or plan to publish, so that people know what is already available without their having to ask for it. This inventory is called a publication scheme.
This leaflet set out how the CRE publication scheme would work.
