Published by the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) in partnership with Sport England, Sporting Equals Factsheet 4 was designed to help sports organisations work with ethnic minority communities - consultation being the key.
Sporting Equals was an independent body developed to promote ethnic diversity in the area of sport and physical activity. Set up in 1998 by Sport England and the CRE, Sporting Equals aimed to raise awareness of the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities and to promote inclusion and diversity across the sport and health sectors.
