The left-hand side of each page is ornamented with foliated borders and one or more miniatures of various sizes. There are numerous ornamented initials. The text is in four columns. Coloured copies of this manuscript were printed in the form of 100 double postcards, each card containing one complete canto (Milano, Alfieri e Lacroix, 1902-03).
