'Anecdote' from The New Times (London) newspaper entitled ' Hunt's Genuine Beer' was reprinted and posted in the streets of Manchester. Another attempt by Hunt's enemies to damage his reputation with the view of prejudicing the minds of the people against him. Is referring to his previous career as brewer, comparing his failure as a brewer at Clifton (where his advertised pure beer was discovered to be adulterated with other ingredients) to his radical political stance.
