Decoration: nineteenth century painted wide border in classical style, outlined in red, upper part of border with grey stags, old man heads and a green laurel wreath on a black ground, lower part of border with oval frame held by two cherubs containing a grisaille scene of classical soldiers disembarking from ships, the side parts of border with classical decoration, cherubs and trophies; illuminated initial 'G' in ochre and gold on a square blue ground outlined in a gold frame.
