Decoration: North Italy, illuminated initial 'N' in gold with white vine-stems defined in blue, green and pink, and in the lower margin a painted unidentified coat of arms (sixteenth-century?) the device erased but probably a lion rampant on a red shield on a pink ground within a green laurel wreath with lilac ribbons, gold dots and black penwork.
