Decoration: illuminated 7-line initial 'P' supplied in pink and yellow on a silver ground (now oxidised to a dull grey), the body of the initial with blue and green foliate decoration with white pen-work; foliate and floral extension with black pen-work into the inner margin in green, pink, blue, red, and silver (oxidised); large green laurel wreath with red ribbons in lower margin, enclosing a painted heraldic device of the Boldieri family of Verona consisting of a shield gules a chevron argent in base a fleur-de-lis argent, with a cherub with green wings, clothed, holding a scroll with the motto 'Bene facite', with red and green foliate decoration, on a blue ground with black pen-work, with floral and black pen-work extensions in blue, green, pink, yellow, and silver dots (oxidised) on either side.
