Description:
Manuscript inscriptions: (1) in an early hand "Liber Ioannis Breuw Vicarij Warmie[nsis]" [Johannes Breuw possibly is Joannis Brewer, vicar (Domvikar) of the cathedral 1499-1516; Warmiensis presumably is the Prince-Bishopric of Warmia in north Prussia, now in Poland]; (2) "No-(41) / +(42); (3) "Z-28" (in red crayon); (4) "5. 63" (crossed-through); (5) "Liber Iohannis Brew Vicarij warmie"; (6) extensive inscription in German in a cursive hand. Engraved label of 'The Owens College' on front pastedown, overlaid on which is another paper label containing a manuscript bibliographical description of this book ending with pressmarks "350.51" (crossed-through), "L.13.28" (crossed-through), and "122.121".
