View of St James's Church, Rusholme in Birch, Manchester. Built in c1846, by J.M.Derick the church of St James is built of coursed squared sandstone, with sloped slate roofs. Designed in the Gothic style it has a 4-stage tower, topped by a broach spire with decorative lucarnes; most windows have pointed arches. The graveyard and gravestones can be seen in the foreground.
