Description:
|
View of Chatsworth House from the bridge. The bridge is in the foreground, with a beautiful mirror image reflected below it in the still waters of the River Derwent. The West Front of Chatsworth House is just visible in the background. The bridge was designed by James Paine and was deliberately set at an angle of 40 degrees to command the best view of the West Front of the house.
