Description: 
Three women, dressed in waterproof aprons, are cleaning a large carriage with buckets, brushes and cloths. The carriage is labelled: J. Lyons & Co. Ltd. Model Steam bakeries, Universal Caterers, head office Cadby Hall, Kensington. J.Lyons was founded in 1886 as a catering business. In 1894 it was incorporated into a public company and established its head office and food factories at Cadby Hall in Hammersmith. It was one of the largest food factories in the UK.
