Description: 
A woman, dressed in waitresses uniform is standing next to a table, she holds a card out to a seated man. The table is laid with a linen style table cloth, crockery and a vase of flowers. St. Ermin's Hotel is a Grade II-listed Victorian building , built as a mansion block between 1887 and 1889 to designs by E.T. Hall. By 1899 in had been converted into a hotel by designer J.P. Briggs. It is named after a 15th century chapel dedicated to St. Ermin, which was on this site previously.
