Description: 
The interior of the Roscoe Chemistry Laboratory in the old Chemistry building on Burlington Street (now student services). The image is a close up of a number of unidentified students working at one of the benches on which are placed various scientific apparatus. High on the wall in the background of the picture can be seen one of the buttresses that supported the beams for the vaulted ceiling, all of the three chemical labs in the building had these at the time, and to either side of this the bottom sections of two windows which lined the southern side of the lab and looked out onto Burlington Street are visible.
