The Kings Hotel exterior (since demolished); shot at ground level from the opposite side of Oxford Road in front of the Holy Name Church looking south west towards the hotel. It shows in the foreground a number of large terraced houses that were knocked down to make way for the Manchester Academy. On the reverse there is a hand drawn street plan in ink showing the location of the photograph.
