Professor A.D. Macdonald; A photograph of Dr MacDonald and Mr Davison (A steward) both dressed in lab coats and stood together in a laboratory conducting an experiment. A. D. Macdonald was Professor of Pharmacology, Materia Medica and Theraputics at the University of Manchester 1935-1964. On the reverse of the image is an attached label which reads 'The University of Manchester, Professor MacDonald estimating oral toxicity in the department of pharmacology' written above this are two numbers '31, 9' and beneath it 'With him is Mr Davison the steward, Nov 1944'.
