Silver casket, decorated with scenes of Manchester, the red rose of Lancaster and the Manchester coat of arms. The casket was presented to Charles Prestwich Scott when he received the freedom of the city of Manchester, April 8th 1930. It once held the original freedom scroll. This view shows the lid with the inscription: Presented with the Freedom of the City of Manchester; Charles Prestwich Scott, Esquire, J. P., M. A., LLD., 8th April, 1930.
