Transcription:
Dear Mr. Price, Many thanks for kindly sending me a copy of your book. I am particularly glad to have it – indeed it is indispensable for a complete study of the events preceding the war – a sad study, alas! I enclose the letters – such French as I can muster and a line of introduction to our St. Petersburg – I beg its pardon – Petrograd – correspondent. Good luck to you Yours sincerely (signed CP Scott)
