Transcription:
Hardegg’s Jerusalem Hotel, Jaffa, Palestine. Dear Mr. Scott, I have finished my journey at last, & am returning to England direct. I enclose the last article which I have divided into 2 parts, as it is probably too long to be published all in one. It is on my trip thru Palestine & my visit to the Jewish colonies, & it reviews the whole Jew question that is of great interest at present here. I fear I have written very lengthy articles but it is most difficult especially on a journey to (analyse?) I see you have published the first two, as I saw them (____?) in the “Near East” newspaper. It has been of great assistance to me that I have been able to say I am the correspondent of the “Manchester Guardian”. It has given me a sort of standing with the Turkish officials & everyone out in Turkey seems to respect its opinions. I have had a good opportunity of tasting what people think about it. My new address will now be at home Tibberton Court Gloucester Hoping you are well Yours sincerely M. Philips Price.
