Description:
|
Hope sends a copy of his "Political Letters" and also a copy of a comedy which he 'laugh[e]d at till my sides were sore'. The letter continues on the publication of his letters and of the effect it may have on his relations. He does not believe it would hurt them and it may be of their benefit as it may prevent him from being declared bankrupt. He notes that he foresaw his embarrassment [over debt] before its publication. The letter continues on Hope's reasons for publishing his work.
