Letter to Charles Hamilton from his brother Sir William Hamilton, who writes that his brother Frederick has given him his share of the family china and notes that if he had a few pieces more then he would save him having to purchase much more and asks him if he would send him what remains of his. In return he can have what remains but if he has any objection then do not send. It would save him about five hundred pounds if her was to do so and asks that he send it as soon as possible has he wishes to ship it to Naples [where he is taking up his position as Ambassador]. He also writes that the day before he kissed the King's hand and is now known as 'His Excellency'. Dated at Mews.
