It is not impossible that (1) this fragment belonged to a manuscript copy written within the immediate reach of Luria, perhaps even before he left Cairo for Safed in 1568, and (2) the Vitals, who tried to maintain the exclusive rights on Luria's legacy, were unaware of its existence. Could this be written by Luria himself?
