Description:
|
Mummy wrapping inscribed with vignettes and spells from the Book of the Dead in hieroglyphics, written on a linen shroud. The colours are remarkably bright. There are suspicions that this is a forgery, possibly copied from a facsimile of a genuine papyrus Book of the Dead in the 19th century.
