Description:
|
Siege of Troy. Book three: Hector challenges Achilles to a duel to settle the war. Hector tells Achilles that if he beats him Priam will submit to the Greeks and leave Troy. If Achilles is beaten then the Greeks have to end the siege and leave Troy. Achilles agrees but the Greek and Trojan chiefs refuse to hinge the war on the single combat of their champions. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
