Description:
|
Siege of Troy. Book three: Priam prays to the gods for victory and Hector rides out to the front of the Trojans. The Trojan ladies, including Helen and Polyxena are fearful for their loved ones and stand on the walls of Troy to watch. Lydgate then turns to describe the Greeks, lamenting the death of Chaucer who is not alive to correct any of his mistakes. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
