Description:
|
Siege of Troy. Book two: Anthenor asks King Peleus (Pelias?) to remember the death of King Laomedon and how Hesione was given to King Telamon after Troy was destroyed. Anthenor then asks for Hesione to be returned. Peleus reacts angrily and orders Anthenor to leave. Anthenor then travels to King Telamon. There are two illuminated initials in the text. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
