Description:
|
The story of the 33 daughters of King Dioclician (Diocletian), Albyne and her sisters, who were banished from their land. They eventually reach a land by boat which Albyne, as the first ashore, names after herself, calling it 'Albion'. Rubrication and a pen-flourished initial introduce the history of Brutus of Troy. Banished following the death of his father he arrives in Greece and meets the Trojans who are in the service of King Pandras. The written space is 175 x 135 mm in several secretary hands throughout the manuscript.
