The tale of how Uter (Uther), victorious over Passent and King Guyllomer, buries King Aurilambros at Stonehenge. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial 'A' introduce the story of Uter Pendragon, and his battle with Octa and Ossa. There is some ink annotation at the top of the folio which has been scored through. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.

þat bataile toke his way towarde Wynchestre for to don entere Aurilambros king þat was his broþ(er) but þo was þe body borne to Stonhenge wiþ muchel honour þat he had don made in re- memb(ra)unce of þe britouns þat þ(er)e were slayn þorugh tresou(~) of Engist þat same day þat þei shulde haue ben accorded and in þe same palce þei enterede Aurilambros þe secunde ȝer of his regne w(t) al þe worship þat mighte bilongen to such a king of whos soule god haue mercy . Of Vter Pendragon and wherfore he was called so after me shal here and he was ouere take for þe grete loue of Ygerne þat was þe Erl of Cor [...] newailes wif Capitulo lxx(mo). After þe deþ of Auri [...] lambros Vter his broþ(er) was crouned and regned wel and woþily . and in rememb(ra)unce of þe d(ra)goun þat he was li kened to he lete make .ij. d(ra)gouns þorugh counceil of his bri- tou(~)s þat on to ben bore bifore him whanne he wente in to bataile and þat oþ(er) to abide at Wynchestr(e) in þe bisshoppes chirche and for þ(t) enchesou(~) he was called eu(er)more after .Vter Pend(ra)gon // And Otta þat was Engistes sone com(~)endede litel Vter þat was made newe king and aȝens him bigan to me- ve werre and ordeignede a gret compaignye of his frendes & of his kynne and of Ossa his broþ(er) and had take al þe lande fram humber in to york but þo of york helde st(ro)ngley agayn ham and nolde soffren ham to come in to þe toun(~) anon righte & ȝaf þ(er) to a st(ro)ng assaute but þey of þe cite ham kepte wel and strongly // And whanne Vter herde þ(er) of : he come þider wiþ a gret poer for to helpe and rescue þe toun(~) and pulte away þe sege and ȝaf a st(ro)ng bataile .
