Description:
|
Deeds of the Apostles: chapter eleven. Peter justifies his baptism of heathens by recounting the appearance of the Holy Spirit at the baptism of Cornelius. Peter reminds the other disciples of the words of Jesus, who said that they would baptise people in the Holy Spirit as John the Baptist had baptised with water. Latin annotation and calligraphic scribbles appear at the bottom of the folio and in the margin. Written space is 100 x 75 mm, 26 long lines.
