Description:
|
Gospel of Mark: chapter sixteen. At Galilee Jesus appears again to the disciples and baptises them so they may teach and spread the word of God. Jesus then ascends into heaven to sit at the right hand of his God. Red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'T' in blue and red ink introduces the Gospel of Luke. An angel appears to Zacharias to tell him that his wife will bear a son, John, who will prepare the way for the Lord. The written space is c. 207 x 133 mm in two columns.
