Description: 
Household recipes, miscellaneous, and a charm to overcome enemies. Line 2 scribe could have meant 'be' not 'he'. Lines 13-17 are scored through, but are readable. Line 26 'ma*' may have said 'manner'. Three different scribal hands. The written space is c. 163 x 115 mm and the script is anglicana.
Transcription: 
1. To [wrete] that no man rede hit [tyll] 2. it he holde a gayne the fyre 3. Take a new pen & write w(t) þe juse of a nynon in 4. fayre pap(er) & when it is drye take & hold þ(t) pap(er) a 5. gayn the fyre & it shall a pere fayre lett(er). p(ro)batu(m) (est). 6. To write þ(t) no man rede tyll it be washe. 7. Take poud(er) of gall & temp(er) it w(t) wat(er) in a noyst(er) schell 8. & take a newe pene & write w(t) þ(t) wat(er) temp(er)ed w(t) gall 9. uppon a pap(er) lef & whane it is drye take poud(er) of kop(er)ose 10. & te(m)p(er)e it w(t) fair wat(er) in a clene (ve*)shell or a sp(*o)ine 11. & whash the pap(er) þ(er) in & it shall a pere fayre lett(er) 12. and blak / To make go[me] wat(er) in þe best Man(er) 13.
