Edward III dies, leaving the young Richard of Bordeaux the next monarch. Red rubrication introduces the tale. The text ends 'god have mercy amen'. Graffiti after the text reads 'M Willelmus Yong petit hunc librum Testante..' and 'M Lionelius Wodward petit hunc librum Testante..'. Written space is 235 x 190 mm, 2 columns with 34 lines. The script is in a secretary hand with some influence from anglicana.
