Edward II is crowned. Then follows the story of Piers Gaveston, favourite of Edward II. Detailing the banishment of Gaveston and his eventual death at the behest of the Earl of Lancaster. The bottom right corner of the folio has been damaged and is missing. Written space is 235 x 190 mm, 2 columns with 34 lines. The script is in a secretary hand with some influence from anglicana.
